This was the kind of book where you find yourself saying, 'just one more chapter' even though it's way past bedtime. Starts off with a bang and never lets up, excitement-wise. The author is so deft at creating interesting, 3D characters that I was instantly hooked into Sweetann's plight (yes, Sweetann). Even the bad guys have depth and lives beyond the story. This is not a typical thriller which makes it much more interesting than the average shoot 'em up, and Sweetann is not a typical heroine. A guaranteed fun time unless you are strictly a reader of G-rated books.Product details

Couldn't put it down thriller that had some unpredictability
The Cook, Boingo, Lorenzo, Sweetann and a 10 year old boy named Nicky, these are just a few of the very well drawn characters that appear in Elizabeth Engstrom's latest thriller. Ms. Engstrom took me on a ride through the seedy underworld of drug smugglers and spit me out at the end with my faith in humanity restored. What would you do with a suitcase of drugs and cash? You might think you know. But do you, really?
